Got all the luggage on, found the tent & bedding........we'll sort the rest tomorrow

Should be up there mid afternoon on Saturday - no doubt you lot will be out & about, but hopefully will see you in the bar Saturday night drinks.gif

As i wandered lonely as a TDM rider upto the rtt06 camping hostel i happened to spy another tdm rider, with pillion on the other side of the a591 waving, i gave a big wave back and carried on my way. Unbeknown to me this was GUINNESS and his wife who was having altercations with his satnav that kept him going round a roundabout (rofl) i found out later!!! Having dropped into the skye camping site, no one to be seen, it was just after dinner though, i made my way back to the KIRKSTON PASS INN where i proceeded to order some lunch, i had parked my bike by another TDM so i guessed they must be eating as well. Entering the inn i spied a couple eating but did not approach in case they werent the people i was seeking. Gorging my way through a meat platter outside the inn, said couple exited the inn and conversation was struck up and all was REVEALED, this was the man, the main man and his wife, we had a good natter for awhile, some piccys taken, unfortunately with prior commitments i cannot stay over but i wish all of you a great time this weekend, pity i couldnt have made it a bit later to catch up with some more of you but time was of the essence. I will post the pics asap im sure this will be a smashing weekend for all concerned.

To Mr and Mrs Guinness it was absolutely brill to meet you both, just remember, we drive on the left hand side of the road, do not swerve to the right or you will enjoy the local NHS food !!!

cheers
