Hello all,

I am new here, nice to meet you all :)

I would like to replace my swingarm bearings.

Would you recommend replacing the bush as well?

Any other actions you would recommend doing while the swingarm is taken apart?

Is there a recommended replacement kit you know about?

Thanks,

Cheers,

Yuval

:welcome:  to the club Yuval.

The bush should be fine so long as it's in good condition and not pitted or worn. It's worth cleaning and lubricating the rear shock lower bush whilst you've got the swingarm removed and you can also clean the drivechain if it needs doing.

Any parts worn by chain contact. The plastic guide that wraps around the pivot end is a consumable.

Thanks very much for your warm and quick welcome.

I want to buy the parts before I start taking apart the swing arm, that is why I need to know if to your experience the bush should be replaced too.

I will also have a look at the chain guard.

Still waiting to hear some more views before I order the bearings and stuff.

Cheers,

Yuval

Welccome !

I undid my rear frame at ~90,000 kms / 20 years, bush seemed just fine.
