I have spoken to camspite and

- sheets etc will be provided for "bunkhousers"
- microwave will hopefully be added to cooking facilities

You may also want to take

- cossies/goggles for swimming( really nice sports centre)
- strong shoes for walking( cracking coastal wlk from "the Sound") see below

I am also taking
- 1:25,000 OS sheets ( N and S) I am a map nut and these are good for walking/detail stuff
- 1:50,000 OS sheet great for checking the yellow (and white) roads
- netbook (so I can attempt to get on carpe site - although I had no success at TT)
- mini folding seat (handy for loads of things inc watching southern 100 races)
- various little guidebooks
- Isle of Man Pub and Brewery Guide ( written in 1995 but still worth a look)
- brollie

It all fits in me soft luggage:

Not taking guitar as I was heartbroken at the abuse my poor little "Tesco" traveller got at bellingham - you bitches (haha). Although we may have a singalong session in the Crosby Hotel on Monday night. The hawthorn is the closest pub and although a bit pricey, the food apparnetly if absolutely first class - maybe worth it for one evening. This is their website http://www.thehawthorn.co.uk/

hope this is useful

I am getting new C and S fitted this saturday and will ditch the engine guards, so P7 KCU will be ready for its lttle excursion.

Roll on!

Pete

Don't go there. I've been waiting for Delkavik to get downpipes back in stock and had an e-mail from them today saying they whould be able to dispatch them on Monday, which might mean me continuing the Mk1 tradition...

Thanks for the offer mate but I'm in the bunkhouse rather than camping so shouldn't need side panniers, in which case I'll probably leave the MTC on and not bother fidding with the pipes until I get back.
