I bought this cheap pair (£99 for both units) for when my friend came up to Scotland, so we could chat.
The Q1 is the short range version from their product line which works over a range of about 30 ft
It has 2 bluetooth inputs, so I set one up for my phone and another for my ipod tunesplayer.
Both units came already paired to each other.
We chose not to use the in-helmet loudspeakers but used in-ear wired headphones instead.
Sound quality is good, the automatic speed responsive volume increase and noise cancelling is good, and battery life is excellent..
I have one of the buttons set to autodial my wife, in emergencies, by giving it three taps. I can still block her number on incoming calls
The only issue we came across is that when switching back to music as the source, following an intercom message, the pillion unit didn't switch back to playing music while the rider unit did so automatically, so it had to be manually changed as required.(An email to the manufacturer about this is still awaiting a reply)
All in all, just because it is a 3 year old design and now sells at end of line prices because they made a newer model since this was launched, I don't think it's bad value for money
