Well, it seems like a perfectly logical move in my opinion. Combining two things we love here of Carpe - what cold be better?
2004 Galaxy Blue. Owned since 486 miles.Renthal 755 bars, Bagster tank cover, Oxford heated grips, DL650 hand guards, Double Bubble screen, Scorpion Rad guard, Gel pad insert, HLD undertray, Angry Badger tailtidy, Roadsmart 4s, Givi E21s, E46 topbox, Ohlins shock and YSS cartridge emulators Currently not fitted - PC3, Remus Revolutions.

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.
Active member of TPLQHCSRSFC and TSRMCMAS (even though a year off) and avid fan of PM not sent.

I creep along like an old fart ! Sans permis and 50cc scooters pass me on the road.
Actually, most of the roads I ride around here are limited to 80 kph which is 3000 rpm in top gear for me. Dual carriageways are 3500 rpm for 90 kph andif I occasionally venture onto a Route Nationale where the limit is 110 kph that's still only 4500 rpm.
Also, I change my oil every 5000 km or 6 months whichever comes first and use semi synthetic 10w/40

My Mk1 never needed topping up between oil changes (~5000km) for 80.000kms. I normally drive at the highest gear the bike would go happily...
