Just an article I scanned in a while back but found on my Computer today. 

 

Ive still to get round to giving it a go despite only living about 10mins from Biggar. 

 

Maybe next weekend.....

That's quite a short run really, I think it needs a bit added to it! But there's no doubt it's first class biking roads :good:

there are lots of nice roads in that area , i have first hand knowledge :-)

We had a few meets at Bellingham some years ago and did some of those roads, lovely area and some decent cake at St Marys Loch.  Is the Moffat-Brougton road the one that goes past the Buddhist Temple?

Time for an ice cream parlour ride then, Allonby, Langholm and back to Silloth to check out the "Ice Cream Factory" plus any more on the way round. :clapping:

You'll go a long way to beat WALLINGS ICE CREAM FARM at Cockerham, near Garstang, Lancashire.

The best ice cream I've ever tasted, and I've tasted quite a few!

Fredricks Ice Cream at Wigan Road Chorley, runs a close second. Their 10 scoop special needs a real man to appreciate it.
