Interesting when you leave a deposit in a German shitbowl, there's a shelf there so you can analyse it - what's all that about then???????

It's the same all over mainland Europe. Think it's an old religious thing - sort of like a mini Harvest Festival, where you take a moment to ponder on life's goodness (or maybe its "passing"?) Probably goes back to the old Roman consultation of entrails (Pity help you if you find any after a hard night on the Weissbier , mind you!!)

no limit to numbers as yet, and everyone is welcome to come over for however long they wish.
the Ruppertshofen we want is below
D-56357 Ruppertshofen
Germany
we did manage to get the wrong one with the GPS when we left Leichenstein which resulted in a longer day than we were expecting
lesson learned : always check the map to ensure the GPS has picked up the correct destination.
if anyone knows of a campsite in the area (or a website with a list of german campsites etc) then i'd be grateful, my investigation is handicapped by babelfish translations.
the other alternative is to find somewhere that has both B&B and camping facilities.
"Never argue with an idiot. They just bring you down to their level and beat you with experience"
My TDM :
Black 1991 850 MK1, 160k+ miles(ish, best guess really, gave up trying to keep count after 3rd set of clocks and 3rd engine), PilotRoad2 tyres, custom stubby exhaust system, bluespot calipers & goodridge braided hoses with dunlopads, maxton forks, Ohlins shock, kedo handguards, stainless TDM grill, Scottoiler with lubetube & dual nozzle thingy, Givi Wingrack2 with E45 & 2xE36s, renntec crash bars, Autocom with blueteeth & PMR radio, TomTom Rider2, Optimate IIIsp, Bagster tank cover, anti-dazzle coating
to fit : led spotlights, heated grips, new braided lines and rear caliper that actually has bleed nipples
Silver-ish 2003 900, 70k miles, PilotRoad3 front tyre (new@65k) & PR2 rear(new at 69k), Renthal 755 bars with KTM handguards, oxford unheated grips, power commander 3usb, scorpion titanium exhausts, standard screen with vario winglet thingy, stainless grill, oem centre stand, bagster tank cover, givi monokey topplate mounted on grabrail with V46 topbox, Givi PL pannier rails with E21s, crash bungs, mirror extender thingys, Halfords Advanced Laser Blue brillance bulbs, 21w led spotlights, touring scottoiler with leehenty dual nozzle, Autocom with blueteeth & PMR radio, TomTom Rider3 Urban, winter style anti-dazzle coating
to fit : led brake light strip, replacement heated grips

Sounds like it's time to take up kind offers of help, e.g. from Stonie, Erdferkel and TDM-rheinlaender?
Their meeting site in Schwaben has both facilities, but is a bit further to go.

lol Pict, are you bored again?
dont panic mate, i'll have a chat with Andre this week and point out our dilema.
if I cant find a campsite close by and the B&B folks cant help us then i'll look at alternative locations that offer both camping and B&B.
if we need to change location then we can re-evaluate and see what people want to do re: dates, locations&other clubs

is this close enough for people to mingle for the evenings entertainment?
or will we end up with us and them? between campers and B&Bers ?
