I hope to make it from J14 M6 if I can get time off. Looks like the German G2G is going to be too long for me so I may as well do this one. Should know on Monday when I go back to work. I hope to use the tunnel as I dont like ferries.

I'm thinking about it Dave, but I haven't mentioned it to Mrs Matlock, so not definate yet hide.gif . If I do go I'll be making my own way home and spending a few days at my Dad's place on the west coast, south of Nante. I suspect Ivan & Pete are up for it - what do you say guys?

The 2009 RTT is July 4th to July 10th.

engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

my girly wants to join in for the MT and RTT (it would be useful as she speaks fluent german and pretty good french/italian etc)
but i aint havin a pillion plus camping gear for 2 weeks, it really messes up the handling
so guessin it may cost me a DAS course.....and probably another bike rolleyes.gif
hmmmm doubtfull.gif maybe i should start lookin for a bigger bike for her....if its sat on her driveway blocking her 125in it may persuade her

well i may have just acquired another one hidden.gif but its a bit big for her evillaff.gif

thinkin either bandit 400 or a GS500

I always liked the Honda CB500 - virtually trouble free, runs like a sensible bike up to 9K then goes a bit mental for a 500, handles well, easy to maintain and it's a twin!
