I have some news.

Due to ongoing personal issues I am dropping out of this years RTT. I'm doing this now so my costs/loses are kept to a minimum.

Although I have already booked and paid for the ferry I am offering this ticket for sale at half price, around £55.00
Let me know if your interested.

I will be supporting you all from afar and wish you safe riding.
Will miss my Buddies too.

Hi Cats,

Im interested in this and really sorry to hear that you can't make it.

Just a quick question for anyone: -

Is there any accommodation left in the bunkhouse with you guys?

suzanne is just checking that she's not on leave on this week. If she is we'll be off on hols somewhere, if she isnt if the ticket's still available I'll probably take it if thats ok?

Can someone point me in the direction of a post that says what the plan is? There's several threads on here but I can't find the details.
I've PM'd Martin to see if he's still got his Ferry ticket to get rid of, but no idea about accomodation yet. I'm happy to camp or put up with the farting and snoring in a bunkhouse if there's space, but not managed to find a post about that yet rolleyes.gif

1992 Mk1, 76k miles, Hagon springs, MTC exhaust, 4½ gears Gone now :(
2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.

Peter,

Booked me tent spot this morning good.gif

do you have any plans for what we are going to be doing each day?

I read of what we could do, but what is the order, or are we going to decide when we know the weather.

I am arriving Saturday afternoon and going back wednesday dinner time.

Just wanted an idea.

I am not that bothered about riding the course every spare minute, or riding over the tops like a fookin idiot.

I want this to be a Holiday, relaxing, with plenty of time to do what ever we decide to do. Ride somewhere interesting, look at the view, have some cake, ride a bit more, look at something more interesting, have some more cake and back home for a shower, get changed and go to the pub. Simples wink.gif

This is the first time when I dont have to ride miles to get to it, 20 mins ride from my doorstep to the ferry and then 10 mins the other side. rolleyes.gif

cheers, Ivan

Many thanks

Sad to report that I'll not be making it for RTT10. a combination of factors including selling the house and moving, which may or may not be happening around this date.

I'm also toying with selling the TDM ohmy.gif though I really want to keep her to attend RTT11, but part of me thinks it's daft to keep the bike for a year for a single trip (though one hell of a trip). I expect to shortly buy a Triumph Street Triple R and I can't really justify 3 bikes (already have a Burgman 650 I use "day-to-day").

I hope all goes well and you all have a great time. cake eating.gif
