Hi All,

Thanks for your patience. The site has been down most of the day and I've installed the forum core files from scratch again.

We found the problem, the site had been hacked, not via SMF but another part of my site on the host, and we think we've got to the bottom of it.

Some 16 or so files had a 64 bit payload of code in them, some more and some less. These ranged from seemingly random html files to the sites standard error html files.

Seemed to be a standard sniff of the ftp login and password. It all seems fine now, people going to www.gocmc.org might need to clear their browser caches but all is up and running. Smileys and avatars are pretty much unavailable but I'll get those going tomorrow afternoon, please don't load up new ones (well you can if you want) because I'll restore the status quo at sometime on Sunday.

Thanks again and goodnight, me and my sore head need just one more cold one wink.gif

All the bext,
Gaz.

Matrix, I can't find any of your details in the ban triggers blink.gif

If you PM me your email address I'll set up an account for you and see what it does then.
