Lew i dipped the coil as well as the 'aitch tea' lead, i would advise yew to dip the lead/coil assembly at least twice or tree toimes in order to get a noice fat coating. Then alls ya gotta do is expose the coils flat blade connector terminals by cutting away any excess plasti dip with a stanley blade/scalpel. I also made an effort to 'shroud' the plug/socket connectors once the coils were plugged in and ready to go in order to prevent rain water mist/spray affecting them. good luck and best wishes.

FFS Lewis i ain't gonna hold ya hand and wipe ya ass too just ring em up and ask for the desired length of standard silicone HT lead you tink you'll need, and they'll post it to ya and den ya can cut it to the desired length fer left and roight hand soide. It's cheap and very worth while.

Oid replace the leads and then (as an extra precaution if you feel its needed) tape. Just putting tape on leads that are already breaking down is a bandage rather than long term fix. The magnecor outer coating really is superior to the OEM stuff.
Cheers

I ended up wasting a reel of SA tape on old leads.
Get some of this (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230847455491), and tape it up - mines held out longer than the coils did!!
