Some very quick searching this year and renewal quote of £152.16 changed to £116.89, still up about 30squiddlers as others have reported. Happy with that though.

Just done mine for the year with Just bike Insurance, got it for £504, fully comp with 4years NCD, no claims, no convictions. (I'm 21 though) this also covers engine bars at £100, heated grips at £50 and luggage at £150.

Its underwritten by Aviva so I know it’s a good policy (as I work for them) and at that price I’m quite happy with it

My renewal from MCE was £650 and that was only TPFT !!!!!

My tips for cheap insurance? Put a low mileage down, and put the value of the vehicle as low as possible. This makes a big difference.

This is true of all insurance renewal quotes now. We must all rise up and fight the machine - that is, refuse the renewal quote, then let the policy expire and come back at them as a 'new' customer. This is the only way you will get the best deal. All power to comparison sites.

I got the car renewal quote from Saga, complete with a price match promise - £550 for a Focus estate!
Did the comparison site bit and got a quote of £400 including all the extras, so I phoned Saga and asked for a price match - they could only do it if I printed off all the details and sent them in.
Bye-bye Saga, Hello Insure.
I think the TDM insurance is up in August, I'll be doing the comparisons then too. I've not been with CN since I had an Aprilia written off about 7 or 8 years ago, they mucked about so much both before paying out and with retrieving extras off the bike that I avoid them now.

The comparison sites confuse me even more though. My car insurance renewall with Admiral came in about around £600, best quote I could get on Go Compare was around £400 with Bell. Phoned Admiral and they matched it. Admiral, Go Compare and Bell are all owned by the Admiral Group. blink.gif

I can't help thinking that they were intentionally trying to do me out of £200 with the initial renewall as as they dropped the price as soon as I asked.

2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.
