Cassoulet or coq au vin should be doable in a camp site, though I intend to find a boulangerie and live on vin, pain et fromage.
Can't beat a nice cassoulet I especially like the proper canard ones, I always pick up a few from Auchan when I do the wine trip, though with current Euro rate I've not been for about a year, normally go 2-3 times yearly. Think I may pick a few up on the trip down - but I guess there'll be a decent hypermarket not too many miles away - anyone know?
Anyway as I'm a chalet occupant I hadn't really planned for any cooking, but in the interest of economising I'm not against the odd night in.
Will there be a flat rate for non-campers to "rent" cooking facilities (bottles of beer?), I suppose communal meals isn't really feasable? Something else for the packing list now - bowl, spoon and mug!
ADDED:
Oops, just found the nearest Auchan is 60km away - AUCHAN VILLENEUVE/LOT -BIAS (60 km) RN 111 Rte de Bordeaux 47300 BIAS
But there's a Carrefour Market (not sure if they're smaller ones) in Gourdon (7.4 kms) - Route de Fumel LIEU DIT BOURRIAT 46300 GOURDON
and also a big one in Cahors (36.9kms) - Route de Toulouse 46000 CAHORS

I always take a pair when I'm touring ........totally waterproof & make wet boots wearable again (I only ever put 'em on if me boots do get sodden)
Most good camping/outdoor shops sell 'em

I bet you haven't tried to see how many gallons of water you can actually boil in 2 hours with the heat shield on?
