MMM, might be up for that!

I live in Germany and the UK, and my partner and I love the Rhine/Mosel area.

We are already going to the Thunderace Treffen (meeting) in the Westerwald in May, the V Strom Treffen probably in August, location unknown, and doing the Alps and Dolomites as a holiday trip.

Don't see a reason why we couldn't squeeze another few days ! assuming of course the TDM is up and running by then.
RIP STORMY - killed by careless driver Oct 2009

currently owned ....
1996 YAMAHA TRX850 gone away for little holiday with Andrea
1997 YAMAHA TDM850 which are obviously an acquired taste. I fink I'm starting to get it now.....
1998 DUCATI 748 ... one way of keeping an old man broke.
1999 YAMAHA Thunderace there is STILL no finer motorcycle
2008 SUZUKI Bandit 1250SA ...... fecked by yours truly, but ......... still fitted with the worlds most uncomfortable bike seat. ouch!

Is there any camping available?

Is there a tent camping around? Can`t plan that far in advance. Tents need no planning...

I`d love to get down there. But hard to tell. I`ll try to make it a long weekend perhaps.
If thing goes according to plan, I`ll move into my new flat 1.July.
Anyone else from up-north going?

Sounds interesting. Depending on finance and possibility of days off there's a very big probability of me being there. Might also lure some other biker friends with me, non TDM though (good oppurtunity for converting I guess).

Spent a couple of trips around the Mosel Valley but not this much south and inland yet, it explains the Swiss interest though smile.gif.

Wednesday to Wednesday does seem a bit of a weird one.

Won't know until much nearer the time if I can go or not. I would be camping. Is there camping on the site you are thinking of using, or would it be at a different location?
