So, what are your final results? Grounded ECU wire too, but on my TDM there is not so much effect. I got less engine braking on 4, 5, 6 gears, but thats it. Throttle on/off efect still going on.

Airbox flap fixed, CO setting adjusted for more open exhaust already.

Thats it, thats what I wanted.Even in third I find there's less braking, which is great as far as I'm concerned. I also have the flap disabled,

I've just added a relay so that when the brake light comes on I get full fuel cut/engine braking

I don;t find the throttle to be on-off , I think it feels like I hoped, like it is running on carbs

I gotta compare ABS wiring with non-ABS diagram at some point.

quick question, does using a high tickover as recommended by JBX (1400) have any effect on engine braking/fuel cut

Hi

No I don't think it makes any effect. What've noticed when decelerating is that coming down in revs to a value between 2000 and 2200rpm the fuel cut effect ends automatically. It seems like fuel cut only happens above and around that figure, below that value there doesn't seem to be any cutting.

It's got to be very similar, I would have thought

Yes Chris,  from my initial comparison they seem the same - I'm just starting a big (and final (hopefully)), contract so my bike-fiddling time is limited until mid 2025 at the earliest. :waiting:

That sounds like a very comprehensive contract. May it bring it's own rewards :good:
