What is doing the processing? I'm sure it was mentioned but I forgot.
This project could do with its own thread.

You clever bloke. Be interesting hearing how the full on road test goes.
I'm curious too. My second 9er which I'll be fitting it to also has a Power Commander. I think I need to install my pulser after the PC, otherwise the PC might start to alter the fueling on deceleration ! I'll just disconnect the PC from the injectors at first for the initial tests.

Took it for a run out to the Super Sausage at Potterbury. The Full Monty breakfast was possibly a step too far, but I made a heroic effort.

Clever stuff, maybe a bit of exhaust crackle off throttle too
Yes it does, well, not so much crackling in my Fuel cans, but burbling happens and sounds good !

I thought I needed steering head bearings.
Disassembled fairing and gauges - forks were bent.
Ooops!
Found new fork tubes made in Germany, shipped out of Manchester England.
Replaced lower fork clamp, tubes, seals, steering head bearings, new fork oil.
Several years ago a custom suspension shop built a very nice rear shock.
Now front and rear are better than new (Race Tech fork springs).
Handles and rides better than new.
The top end rebuild has 10,000 miles on it.
The bike is like a 32 year old new bike.
I love it.

I've added a brake light relay to switch the neutral wire at the ECU between high and low, as the brake light comes on and goes off
By doing that I get engine braking and fuel cutting whenever the brakes are used, but not when I'm just lifting off the throttle.
It should save a bit of fuel and restore braking to maximum when it's needed the most

I dodged enough rain to get up to the Green Welly at Tyndrum.
I was the only bike in the bike park ! I went in to get my usual bowl of Skull and Kink soup only to find a huge queue, so I just turned around and headed home.
It gave me a chance to really check the fuel cut idea I've been working on, and it really helped me in the sections of sweeping bends where you need to ride the throttle to balance the bike through the corners.
On overrun it burbles a bit and then when you use the brake to bring the brakelight on , after a 0.5 second delay , the note of the engine changes as all fuel is cut and there's a tad more braking.
Probably the most enjoyable part was that somehow I improved my right hand turns, which have never been as strong as my lefts, I just needed to trust in the tyres a bit more..

well it is rather quiet in here compared to how it was many years ago so I thought I'd write something, I haven't done anything to my bike yet as I haven't actually got it yet but I have ordered a second hand top yoke for it, it has holes in it where forks and bolts can fit and everything
