Have put 150 miles on now & relieved to see no sign of any leakages. At first however, the oil light came on for a while, then disappeared, then came back on, then off again. Is this 'a thing' or am I the only person to experience this?

When you did the oil change did you bleed the system on first start up with the bleed screw behind the left engine mount? Maybe you had a bit of an air lock in there somewhere.

The light came on on one of mine after the dealers first service. After s***ting myself, stopping and checking the level it went off again and never came on again.

Have now added about 250-300mls of oil.
Despite putting another 140 miles on the clock (and seemingly running fine), light is still coming on & going off intermittently. Seems to be not long after she's warmed up, but infuriatingly never whilst she's running in the garage or on the driveway. May as well give this bleed screw a go, thanks for the tip.

Changed the oil and loosened off the oil bleed screw.
Please to report the light is no longer coming on.
Many thanks for comments / suggestions.
