I'll meet you at Dover in a couple of hours, Chris!!! Well done Matt. That first day is gonna knock our socks off, that's provided I survive chasing you through France, Belgium and Luxembourg to get to Monschau.

I know a good China-Rrestaurant in malmedy. There is a great "all you kan eat" buffet complete with soup and ice cream for 10 €.
It would be nice to reach Malmedy at lunchtime.

Just looking at your day 2 map, Matt. I know I'm not coming over with you guys, but I can recommend a couple of places to you.
When you get to point "Q" and turn left onto the B257, you could turn right and follow the road through Adenau towards Leimbach for Coffee at the OnRoad Cafe. It's only a few minutes ride, Lex is very friendly and the hotel pays homage to all things motorsport. There may even be a carpe card on the noticeboard still!
Back onto your route, the first set of hairpin bends on the L292 are the famous "Carway Esses". Watch the right hander - it tightens a fair bit!
Just West of point "R" there's a petrol station on the B258 and a Sausage/ snack stall right along side. Best sausages I've had in Germany bar none. You can sit a and watch the exotica stopping for fuel and hear the noise from the main straight on the Nordschlieffe (it runs parallel to the B258 at that point).
Enjoy.

That sounds like a plan Hans. Who else fancies a Chinese lunch then?
For us mortals its Monday!
I do not know who it loves.
Chinese food tastes a little different in every country, and I had never eaten it in belgium.
It is an idea and at the end of the Parc Natural Haute Fagnes.
Malmedy in the Ardennes, where there are beautiful roads for motorcyclists.

Yes, come on guys . I know a lot of you didn't want to commit when this RTT was originally discussed, but it's just 5 weeks away now. So do you want to sit at home moaning about the sh*te British (& Irish) weather? Or, do you want to ride your beloved TDM (other motorcycles are available) in sweltering European sunshine (other weather patterns are available) on fantastic European roads and drink fine German beers of an evening in marvelous company?

Thanks Trev. I'll have a look at that. I had already penciled in that garage near the ring
