I celebrated by by taking the TDM to the local independent pug garage to get 4 NORMAL wheel bolts. They concluded I was a jammy booger and it took them 7hours to drill one ooot!!!!

...now to hunt oot some cakey!! And then address what horrors lie underneath this thing.

Gonna need more cakey.

The undertray has had half ripped/cut off to aid servicing without the extreme effort of removing the 5x10mm bolts (now seized in chassis after 15years of non movement). Haaa.

P bushes confirmed shot... along with balljoints. All 4 discs are like corrugated tin...but at least they put new pads in lolllzio!!??!!!!

Not even crawled underneath proper yet.

Burial service..hmmm I just can't do that.

Enjun oil leak...hate that.

After breaking the second locking wheel nut tool, I borrowed the tool from the local dealer and bought 4 non locking bolts.  Do people steel wheels these days?

So far...

New disc/pads/pins etc etc

New lower arm/balljoints/p bushes

New tyres X 2

Spare wheel removed and rear section Dinitrol 4941'd

Observations...not had a really good prod yet but.

Wheels done up with dugger dugger gun until security bolts and tool rounded.

New looking pads fitted to very old looking badly scored discs both front and rear.

3 calipers partially seized...for very long time by state of guide pins.

One pad retaining clip not installed (it can't fall out, it was simply not fitted)

One trailing arm to caliper bracket plate snapped (I suspect again with dugger dugger gun)....don't worry just reinstall with dugger dugger and spin snapped bits into the rubber boot on back of caliper, then leave it like that duhhhhhh.

Failed trolley jack attempt on OSF chassis....fear not when that bends chassis without lifting the car...move it 4"away and do exactly the same thing again with the same result lolzio!!!!

Enjun leak

Power steering leak

Exhaust leak from several pidgeon crap welded patches.

Cambelt (will do that next)

This car has one owner from new and always been serviced by a professional (as in paid) mechanic. Worrying!

Indeed service book fully stamped and never missed a "service"!!

Spare wheel painted today.....well I only had orange enamel, so that's what it got. :0)
