Of more importance however is your health, hope you get whatever the issue is sorted soon, you can come out to play again after that.
Tell us when you're ready and we'll do a rerun of the "mills and moorland" together just to break you in gently
look after yourself and get well soon
all the best

Of course I could just stop being a cheapskate and book myself in the Fasthotel for the grand sum of £36 euros but it seems a bit silly when I've got the tent on the back.

Private sites in France have been good, not so happy with municipal ones. Sorry - had a guidebook but seem to have it no longer.
While I'm here can I wish everyone a memorable and safe trip. I'd love to have come along, but yesterday's 200 mile G2G day out with the maxi scooter brigade proved that the RTT09 agenda would have been beyond the limits of my stamina now. Towards the end I even came close to copying old "Hedgecutter" Larkins' trick, luckily without a pillion. . So, have a good 'un guys.

nothing too serious lads but now just waiting for date for a scan for possible gall stones will certainly still be doing rideouts this year
Everybody have a great and safe RTT and uphold (my view of ) the TDM philosphy of "understate, underpromise and overdeliver"
all the best and look forward to the pics!

Thankfully it is treatable and has a 90% success rate, but it does means he's having to pull out and won't now be joining us.
Bob was due to be sharing a cabin with me at Motocamp, so if any non-smoking, non-beltching, non-farting, non-sleepwalking person is after a cabin slot (with pre-booked bedding) please give me a shout.
