I'm also booked on the 20.30 return on 12th from Cherbourg, sounds like there'll be a fair old crowd and a nice ride up from the campsite, I've no plans yet for the Sat night stop but I'm not a camper!

As TeDeum says going out I'm on the later Port - Cher (Seacat) on Fri 3rd, which doesn't get in till 19.45, so will go straight to the Hotel in Laval to link up with Mr & Mrs TeDeum & Bob, who will have sauntered down via Mont St M earlier in the day.

We'll then have about 300 cross-country miles to do to get to the campsite on Sat - provisional route here RTT09 via MSM

Not too long to wait now good.gif

I am booked on 2315 overnight from poole to cherbourg on Friday 3rd and intending to do it in one from there to the campsite
(I will get off the boat at 0700 on saturday 4th )

is it realistic to meet up with you guys at Laval or try to meet up with you at lunch stop?

I am coming back on saturday 11th at 2300 from cherbourg to poole and again intend to do it in one from camp site to cherbourg - is anyone else is on same crossing?

also is it possible to get cabin-type accommodation at camp- site at this stage ? (I was intending to camp but having some "age-related issues" making me think about need for a bit more comfort)

Stopping overnight somewhere around Tours and down to St Aubin on Saturday.

SWMBO has booked a farmhouse around 60 miles SW in the Dordogne and her kids and her bro and kid are all gathering there for 2 weeks. They all feck aff to Blighty and we Bongo and TDM around to northern Spain for another fortnight before sailing back to Portsmouth from Bilbao on the 9th August.

I am looking at ways to get bike onto motor home for future reference and wondered if you really need a trailer -

here is a quick way of loading into van directly

Bondy and me have obviously got at least one thing in common (actually 2 as we both ride TDM's) i.e we make slight noises whilst we sleep. I guess I'm lucky to still be here after last years German megatreff coz apparently I kept Dannyboy awake and he did intimate that he wasn,t happy about it, I vaguely remember him muttering something about throttling me and never waking up. unsure.gif

Slight????? blink.gif

Mind you I had to lend Ray a spare pair of earplugs on a CMC trip a couple of years back due to the racket Tony and Wicky were making between them. And as for the campers on the last Bellingham G2G, it sounded like a bad rendition of the Frog Chorus in the middle of the night!
