Just been exchanging emails with Shane... Can't make it this October... dang.. Just when my health has returned, the income was a lot slower in reviving.
Congrats, Graeme, on the new monster. I rode one of those around the block... 'lovely' and 'insane' both apply!
Can only afford a PI GP trip, before the end of year, so that has taken priority (and was booked just the other week before I stuck my long overdue nose back into Carpe-TDM).
I hope to ride with you all at TDUT 2013.

Hi all, am keen to join you all for the weekend - though still need to organize the time off.
Would plan leaving Sydney midday on the Friday
Is there still room in the lodge or should I bring my tent?

Hmm-forgot all about this (again...)
I guess I'll have to ask the boss Monday morning about taking Friday off (although with some of our posties working 14 hour shifts due to shortages all this week,I don't like my chances)
Won't know if I don't ask,though.

But do I pack the 02 TDM,the 05 TDM,or the 04 DR650...
Hoping to make it to Berridale

G'day Pat,

wish I had to make those kinda choices... although I am looking for an ~'02 to go naked with (Oooo err) to replace a cruisers that languishes now the TDM EFI is sorted to my liking...

Go on, pack a TDM. Toss a coin if ya have to. :)

Tell the boss you have to go; it's a stress relief issue... have a word to HR; they might even be able to fund it. :D

MmmmmKay... weather is looking promising... no... seriously, it is.

http://www.elderswea...tains/berridale

and the long range:
http://www.elderswea...=disableCookies

the forecast showers come in at a high chance of fook all; 80% chance of rain but less than 1mm is expected... usually means overcast and the odd spot.

Pack warm socks & undies though; it wont exactly be summer.

I'm not going to comment on the weather, apart from saying it will be cold, so pack your winter woolies

Would Saturday be a good choice for the Eden run?

looking at the forecasts for Eden and Khancoban, Saturday looks to be a bit cooler than Sunday, which means that the coast run would not be as cold as the trip through the mountains but not by much only a couple of degrees difference.

both runs are roughly the same amount of time/distance, either one will be a good ride so why don't we see the weather updates on Thursday and see which way looks better

I suspect those coming from lower down (me) are going to get wet. But not to worry. Am going to go via Bruthen, Orbost and then see what the weather is like but will see you all friday arvo. Good trip all!!
I will bring the "on any sunday" video. And the "close to the edge" video.
Cant really fit the yamaha banner on, had visions of it being used at very TDUT--------
cheers Graeme
